This Website is deticated to all Tangata Whenua whom maybe going through the same issues as myself with Social Services (Ministry of Social Development) of a New Zealand Government. 

The services I would like to talk about are Child Youth & Family (CYF),  Non Government Organisations (NGO) and the Family Courts.

We have set up a Whanau Trust site known as Whanaungatanga Te Tangata.  This site has been set up by myself in informing the general public of issues arising out of a New Zealand Government and why they fail to practice what they preach from a "Child and Youth Welfare Forum" held on the 9th & 10th October 2006 and was chaired by Professor Mark Henaghan, Universtiy of Otago and Nicola Atwool, Office of the Children's Commissioner.

My name is Lydia Faithfull and for five years now, I have been fighting the Manukau Family Court under the Children Young Persons and their Families Act 1989 (CYP&F) for my children whom are of Maori descent to return to me so that we may journey home to our pepeha to learn of our Maori culture and tikanga beliefs.  Something I was brought up to believe.

Holistically I am of Maori descendent from both my parents and can whakapapa to all Chiefs (Rangitiratanga) of this country. 

My voice is to all my Tuho Tuku Iho before me as I Journey home to Rahiri Settlement and the birth place of my mother and grandfather and where my tamariki whenua's are buried, on one of the Uru pa's on the land. 

I am a third generation Morehu and my beliefs are of Tikanga in relation to Te Whakamenienga O Te Whakaputanga 1808, The Declaration of Independence 1805 and Article Four of Te Tiriti of Nu Tireni and how this Social Engineering fails to work for Maori or any other Cutural Race that are Indigenous or Tangata Whenua of the land.

My issue with Child Youth & Family (CYF) is "Why for the past five years, my family and I have been denied the rights to have a Family Group Conference (FGC)/Family Whanau Agreement (FWA) at my uncles home whom is my Kaitiaki of the whenua in  Rangiahua (Rahiri Settlement).

I am also collecting information for those families whom have had a s 178 of the Children Young Person's and their Families Act 1989 as I do believe that they are biased and damaging to Families. 

My aim in Life is to be Politically Correct to those that have a Professional background in Social Development of a person's well being - HOLLISTICALLY.
